About SWEED Lashes
SWEED Lashes was initially founded by Gabriella Elio, and is now currently one of the biggest lash brands in Sweden. Established in 2015, SWEED Lashes have just landed at FalseEyelashes.co.uk for the very first time! Naturally, we're super excited, and we know you're just going to love these luxury lashes.
Business owner, Gabriella is one of Sweden's most iconic makeup artists and has collaborated with several outstanding girl bosses in the beauty industry. Gabriella's previous collabs include Terry De Gunzberg and Nikki Wolff. What makes SWEED Lashes stand out is their translucent cotton band that makes applying false lashes seamless for beginners and professionals. All SWEED Lashes are handcrafted and if looked after, can be reused up to 10 times.
For those who haven’t guessed, the title for this company comes from the combination of two words! Sweden and Sweet – which together create SWEED! Gabriella wanted to make her country known to the beauty industry, and the iconic blue box that houses the products resembles those commonly found in Sweetshops in Sweden; usually created only for macaroons, sweets, and yummy bites. When asked why she chose this gorgeous blue as part of her brand development, she commented saying that she had always loved the colour of the Riva boats and the Mediterranean Sea. So she decided to choose the retro round box (in blue) and it took her almost 2-3 years to come up with the final design. Nothing like it had ever existed on the market in Sweden, so the new invention took a bit of time to come to completion! Gabriella was totally obsessed. “The BOX just has to be round!” – Considering most other suppliers still offer lashes in square boxes, her decision was a hit, and certainly well worth the wait! From the box to the lash design, SWEED is a company that is setting the standard for others in the industry – and the bar is certainly set rather high!
SWEED is all about sustainability, and for this very reason, the lashes can easily be used for up to 10 occasions. What is more, is that you can also store your lashes in the recycled SWEED box (in between applications). The products offered here are certainly a secret weapon, for both celebrities and makeup artists alike. You can easily achieve a red carpet look with these luscious lashes. Gabriella, who is clearly a star in her own right, is constantly on the lookout for new collaborations, and she has recently teamed up with Ida Ekman to create a stunning new range too.
Innovative, fun, funky, and fresh, what’s not to love about SWEED! These falsies are high quality and high performance, and they are becoming the go-to false eyelash for industry professionals. From the red carpet to a Royal wedding, there’s no end to the glamour that these luxurious lashes can provide you with!

SWEED – The Reviews
My HG of falsies. I can reuse one set 3-6 times depending on what I've put them through each time. I discovered these after Shu Uemura scaled back their range of products in the UK to haircare and skincare only, and my eBay source dried up. They have the same arrangement as Farfallina, but black instead of the layered black and brown, and are noticeably more resilient. Sweed lashes are also vegan and cruelty-free! Thank You FalseEyelashes.co.uk for stocking these. And for running the regular payday promo. Li-Shen on SWEED’s Terryfic 3D Lashes
These are beautiful false lashes, they really are. They look like extensions and are very easy to apply. But they are extremely fragile, so just apply carefully. In any case, I will definitely be buying them again! Manuela on Nikki Makeup No Lash-Lash
These honestly mimic natural lashes, they look effortlessly beautiful and I honestly wish I owned 100 packs! They’re a bit delicate, so make sure you have a light hand when removing them from the strips! Hala on Nikki Makeup No Lash-Lash
SWEED – Removing Lashes + False Lash Hygiene
Okay, so you’re all set and ready to order, but you’ve never used falsies before. Well, not to worry, we can help. We’ve come up with a few tips and tricks to make your false eyelash removal and hygiene care a walk in the park! After all, everyone likes it when things are a bit more straightforward. Before you start with your makeup removal routine, you should in most cases remove your false eyelashes first. One way to do this gently is to take a cotton bud/swab (soaked in remover/micellar water), then you can use this to soften your eyelash glue/adhesive.
We would recommend using our two best-selling products for false eyelash removal.
You can also use a number of other products, but for the very best results have a look at our online store, we have plenty of options for you. Some other products that you might be able to find at home can include coconut oil or sweet almond oil, these work fine for eyelash removal too.
Next, we would suggest running your cotton swab/bud along the line of your lash. After this, gently grab the lash extension (from the outer corner) and slowly peel it off and away from your natural lashes.
Top Tip: If you feel a pinch or any type of resistance, then just use some more Lash Remover and wait a little.
Fake Lash Hygiene
From home professionals to industry experts, anyone in the lash game knows you have to clean your falsies. If not, you could be in big trouble! Cleaning your lash extensions is highly recommended, mainly because it helps to keep nasty bacteria away from your eye region.
Those who fail to do so, and therefore neglect their lash hygiene routine could likely suffer from severe redness, agitation, and irritability. What’s more, is that you’ll prolong the life expectancy of your SWEED lashes if you clean them regularly.
For more information on how best to keep your false lashes hygienic, just have a look at our simple yet effective step-by-step guide below:
Peel Off Residue
If you take a closer look, you’ll easily notice the remainders of glue or adhesive stuck to the base of your falsies. What you can do is to peel this off gently, so that it can be re-glued for the next occasion. Just go slowly, you don’t want to rip your precious falsies.
Use a Cleaning Solution
You can easily create a cleaning solution to rinse your lashes. You can do this by filling your sink (or a small bowl) with lukewarm water and a touch of gentle soap. If you want to, you can also use liquid eye makeup remover, whichever works best.
If you want to go for a well-reputed option, we would recommend taking a look at our two bestselling false eyelash cleaners:
- Eyelash Emporium – Off Camera Lash Cleanse Set
- Eyelash Emporium – Retake Studio Strip Lash Cleanser
Clean Your Lashes
Pop your glorious lashes, individuals, or strips, into your water/solution. Rub them gently and carefully, noticing that the mascara and other makeup begin to dissolve.
Top Tip: Discard the dirty water once it has been used, this must never be re-used for cleaning!
Let Your Lashes Dry
Before you set them to dry, just double-check that there is no residue remaining. Once you’re sure, leave them in a clean place to dry off. You can also pat them dry if you are in a bit of a hurry, just make sure you use a clean, dry cloth – tissue isn’t recommended! Unfortunately, if you forget to clean or take care of your lashes, then the next time you choose to apply them you might have a bit of trouble. They could be caked in mascara, or not sticking because they contain a build-up of glue/adhesive. By keeping your fabulous falsies fresh, clean, and totally glamorous, you’ll be provided with more uses and happy, healthier eyes.
We all know how gorgeous false eyelashes look, but it might be hard to pull them off with sore, red, and itchy eyes. Keeping your eyes safe and free from bacteria should always be your first priority!
Now you know exactly how to clean your lashes, as well as take care of your eyes. If you’re new to the lash game, learning the ropes might feel a little daunting, but it really doesn’t have to be. We have plenty of tips, tricks, and guides on our site! For beginners, starting out can take a bit of getting used to. You might fumble, you might falter a little, but you will certainly get there and in style.
