Good, easier to apply than others I have tried
Amazing service and brilliant lashes. Baby lashes not too long and look more natural . Love the shorter lashes for every day.
Never had a bad pair of Ardell lashes. These are great everyday wearing, easy to care for and reuse lashes.
These give me a lovely subtlety enhanced natural look. I have almost no lashes from chemo so these look like the normal me but on a really good day. I wish they had the knot free invisiband though because some of the notes have slipped around when reused.
Having tried a large variety of lashes of the 'baby', 'demi' and 'natural' ranges, the baby wispies are the most comfortable to wear. Comfortable in a physical sense in that they are light, easy to apply and within moments you can forget you are wearing false lashes. But also comfortable in the sense that you do not feel people are looking at you and wondering why a woman of 'that' age is wearing false eyelashes. At 62, my own lashes are scant and short and layering on the mascara just looks like a hot mess. I have worn false eyelashes over the years, but only on rare 'special' occasions mostly because trying to apply them was a nightmare. Also, probably because of the rise of so many great mascaras, they were out of fashion. They were uncool.
This time around, I caught sight of myself in full Halloween dress last October, including big spider false eyelashes and thought wow I look gorgeous! I then looked around me and saw that literally everyone was wearing them, and my quest to find lashes I could just 'pop on' in lieu of mascara began. I began with the lightest, most natural looking lashes I could find, including the Ardell baby demi wispies. As easy as they were to wear, it took a while to realise that the length and volume on the outer edges didn't suit me at all. They made my already small and ageing eyes, smaller and 'squintier', I needed the volume in the middle to open my eyes up. Though too much volume in the middle can give a startled doll effect, doh! suitable maybe for next Halloween maybe. Who knew there was so much to learn about false eyelashes? For a more natural, non squinty, false lash that it is easy to apply the baby wispies are just right..
Should add, I love this website and all the helpful reviews and photos sent in by other users, they really do help when choosing what to buy. I also love the efficiency of the company in getting your lashes to you the next day. I can't imagine how many shops I would have to traipse to see so many brands and styles and for that, many thanks.
