      I have been using these eyelashes for over a year. I prefer the short lashes but they are still quite long, longer than my own. The brown colour is not pale, still quite dark but not as stark as the black. I am in my 50's so want to be more subtle, but still have lovely eyelashes instead of my own which have become more sparse in the last few years. I'll continue to buy them for as long as I feel comfortable wearing them.
